Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently using our hotel management software.
- Handle incoming calls and emails professionally, answering inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
- Process payments and manage the safe and petty cash with strict accuracy and security protocols.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless and well-maintained.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception desk and lobby area at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera, GuestCentric).
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
