As a Weekend Shift Receptionist, you will be the face of our hotel during our busiest times. We offer a competitive hourly rate, a supportive team culture, and the opportunity to work in a beautifully restored historic property.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Manage daily reservations, room assignments, and waitlists efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Process payments accurately using hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Cross-train in housekeeping and maintenance to support operational needs during weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations.
