Responsibilities
- Manage daily hotel operations during assigned shifts (front desk, housekeeping, or maintenance)
- Train and mentor new staff members on service standards and procedures
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication for seamless operations
- Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain operational efficiency
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations
- Prepare shift reports and document operational incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel or hospitality management experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficient in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Valid California driver's license (for errands)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
