Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide information about local attractions in PA and OH.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle incoming calls, manage reservations, and process payments efficiently using hotel management software.
- Night Audit: Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation, reconcile room revenue, and ensure accurate reporting for the next shift.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the property security systems, enforce key card access protocols, and respond to emergencies according to hotel policy.
- Mail & Messages: Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to guests promptly.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain a welcoming and clean lobby area, ensuring the front desk and public spaces are pristine.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries and complaints with a focus on de-escalation and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new property management systems quickly.
- Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
