Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying payment information and collecting necessary deposits.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing guest inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby spaces.
  • Assist guests with luggage, directions, and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
  • Process daily cash, credit card, and check transactions using the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS).
  • Respond to guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Ensure all security protocols and safety checks are completed before opening and after closing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as needed.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
  • Valid driver’s license is a plus.
