Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying payment information and collecting necessary deposits.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing guest inquiries and requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby spaces.
- Assist guests with luggage, directions, and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Process daily cash, credit card, and check transactions using the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS).
- Respond to guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Ensure all security protocols and safety checks are completed before opening and after closing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
