Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Front Desk Operations: Assist with check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our property management system.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries regarding rooms, amenities, and local directions.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate room status updates to the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
- Revenue Management: Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints or issues with patience and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
- Security: Monitor the lobby area to ensure the safety and security of all guests and property.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required.
- Experience: Previous hotel or customer service experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate with no experience.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required by business needs.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light objects (up to 20 lbs), and move around the property freely.
