Responsibilities
- Maintain Cleanliness: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to the highest standards.
- Bed Making: Strip beds, change linens, and make beds according to strict hotel brand standards.
- Laundry Services: Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and guest amenities.
- Restocking: Ensure guest rooms are fully stocked with toiletries, coffee, and other amenities.
- Maintenance Reporting: promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests politely and address any specific requests or complaints with professionalism.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage the usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed checklists and ensure every corner is spotless.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
