Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Make and remake beds, ensuring linens are crisp and corners are sharp.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners, restock amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) as needed.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and polish surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged furniture to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests whenever interaction occurs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move furniture or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
