Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and efficient cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to maintain the hotel's high standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and ensure all amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) are restocked in guest bathrooms.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and wipe down surfaces to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Respond promptly to room service requests and special guest needs with a smile.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the maintenance department immediately.
- Organize and store cleaning supplies and equipment properly to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations set forth by the hotel management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with guests and staff.
