Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean guest rooms and bathrooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Bed Making: Strip and make beds according to strict hotel specifications and guest preferences.
- Sanitation: Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Amenities: Restock guest supplies, such as toiletries, linens, and coffee/tea stations.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.
- Efficiency: Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to time management protocols to ensure room turnover meets target times.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and fellow staff members.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and effective communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings or late nights as needed.
