Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock amenities, linens, and cleaning supplies in guest rooms and closets.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to ensure all amenities are functional and the space meets company quality standards.
- Laundry Services: Sort, wash, and iron linens and guest clothing according to strict safety and quality protocols.
- Guest Communication: Interact professionally with guests and respond promptly to requests or feedback regarding room conditions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals and proper disposal of waste.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs needed to the maintenance department.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to notice even the smallest imperfections.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods during shifts.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
