Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment efficiently and safely
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols and brand standards
- Collaborate with team members during shift transitions for seamless operations
- Handle guest requests with professionalism and discretion
- Complete detailed room inspections to ensure perfection
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 25 lbs), and move throughout shifts
- Valid work authorization in the United States
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to downtown Detroit location
