Responsibilities
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness standards across guest rooms and common areas
- Inspect rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with brand quality protocols
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing usage and minimizing waste
- Coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams for efficient room turnover and issue resolution
- Implement sustainable cleaning practices while maintaining premium guest satisfaction
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews for housekeeping team members
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally regarding room quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional housekeeping experience in luxury hotels
- Supervisory or team leadership experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressure
- Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning products and techniques preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license (for supply runs as needed)
- Proficiency in property management systems and inventory tracking software
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish a plus
