Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and facilities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate new hires, providing constructive feedback to improve performance and service quality.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient usage and timely restocking.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any maintenance or cleanliness issues immediately to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare work schedules and assign tasks to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and loss prevention.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping supervision or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior hospitality education is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
