Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect the daily cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders and ensuring proper storage to minimize waste.
- Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff to improve performance and guest satisfaction scores.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure all safety and sanitation regulations are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Conduct quality assurance rounds to verify that all rooms meet the hotel's exacting standards.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to address room readiness issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or hotel operations.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driverβs License preferred.
