Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Financial Management: Monitor hotel financial performance, manage budgets, control expenses, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction by personally addressing inquiries and resolving complex issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and retention.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as local and state licensing requirements.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and develop local partnerships to enhance the hotel's reputation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in hotel management, with a proven track record in the hospitality industry.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Customer Service: Deep understanding of guest service standards and the ability to exceed expectations.
