Responsibilities
- Greet and warmly welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in process.
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, processing reservations, and handling inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist guests with check-out procedures and process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, reception area, and common spaces.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests and room issues promptly.
- Handle cash transactions, prepare daily bank deposits, and reconcile accounts at the end of the shift.
- Support special events and VIP guests by providing personalized service and assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Valid driverβs license is an asset.
