Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes with precision and warmth
- Handle reservations, billing inquiries, and payment processing using PMS systems
- Act as local Oakland ambassador, providing recommendations for attractions, dining, and events
- Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining service standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and hotel amenities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license preferred
