Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out guests with efficiency and a warm welcome, verifying identity and collecting payments.
- Process hotel billing, settle accounts, and manage cash drawers with 100% accuracy.
- Conduct night audits, ensuring all financial postings, guest folios, and daily reports are accurate and reconciled.
- Monitor the security of the hotel premises, including patrolling common areas and logging security events.
- Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding local attractions, dining, and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area at all times.
- Assist in light housekeeping duties to ensure the lobby and public areas are pristine.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality or front desk experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer proficiency, including proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
