Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation of daily transactions and generate financial reports
- Check in/out guests efficiently using our property management system
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues during overnight hours
- Monitor hotel security systems and coordinate with security personnel
- Manage cash handling and safe operations
- Prepare accurate shift reports for management review
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests overnight
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or night audit experience
- Proficiency with Opera or similar property management systems
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland area attractions preferred
