Responsibilities
- Manage overnight front desk operations including check-ins/check-outs, guest inquiries, and VIP service requests
- Perform daily reconciliation of guest accounts, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure facility readiness for day operations
- Generate end-of-day reports and prepare accurate financial summaries for management
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records in property management system while ensuring data privacy compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or night auditor experience preferred
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong mathematical aptitude
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Memphis attractions and local transportation options
