Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive night audit procedures including reconciling daily transactions and preparing financial reports
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Address guest concerns promptly with exceptional service and problem-solving skills
- Oversee security protocols and emergency response procedures throughout the property
- Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth transition between shifts
- Maintain accurate records of all guest interactions and financial transactions
- Support room status management and coordinate with housekeeping teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front desk or night audit role
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to financial detail
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
