Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during night hours, including check-ins, check-outs, wake-up calls, and answering inquiries with a premium touch.
- Financial Integrity: Perform the nightly audit, balancing room postings, folios, and credit cards to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Security & Safety: Monitor hotel security systems, conduct perimeter checks, and ensure the safety of guests and staff during the night.
- Guest Experience: Resolve guest issues, process late check-outs, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for early risers.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit the daily operational report to the Front Office Manager before shift end.
- Housekeeping Liaison: Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure room readiness and address maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or night auditing is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential).
- Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to work independently.
