Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Process guest check-ins/check-outs using PMS software
- Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and balancing daily reports
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve service issues promptly
- Conduct security patrols and monitor surveillance systems
- Prepare end-of-day financial reports for management review
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or night audit experience required
- Proficiency in Opera, Fosse, or similar PMS systems
- Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license (if required for errands)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of hotel accounting principles preferred
