Responsibilities
- Manage end-of-day financial reconciliation including cash handling, credit card processing, and deposit preparation
- Oversee check-ins/check-outs for late arrivals and early departures with personalized service
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations per hotel protocols
- Prepare detailed shift reports for management and coordinate with day staff
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction
- Perform daily audits of restaurant/bar and room service revenue streams
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and billing discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk or night audit experience required
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to financial details
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of hotel security procedures and emergency protocols
