Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during night shifts, including check-ins, check-outs, and wake-up calls.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Perform financial reconciliations, including posting charges and balancing the daily house bank.
- Monitor hotel security systems and ensure the property is secure for guests and staff.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby and public areas during off-peak hours.
- Assist in training junior staff and providing mentorship when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or hotel management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
