Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation of guest accounts, credit card transactions, and cash drawer audits
- Check in/out guests during overnight hours with efficiency and warm hospitality
- Respond to guest emergencies and special requests 24/7 with discretion
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for overnight operations
- Maintain accurate records of incident reports and guest communications
- Prepare daily financial reports for management review
- Assist with training for new night shift staff
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk or night audit experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills during high-pressure situations
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach hospitality regulations
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
