Responsibilities
- Manage nightly financial reconciliation including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing guest accounts
- Oversee check-in/check-out procedures for late arrivals and early departures
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations per protocol
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for overnight operational needs
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion
- Prepare daily reports for management review
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and guest communications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk or night audit experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to financial detail
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Illinois hospitality license and security clearance
- Fluent English; Spanish language skills preferred
