Responsibilities
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing the night audit report, posting charges, and balancing the folios.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying registration cards and payment methods.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests staying overnight.
- Assist with front desk operations, including processing reservations and handling special requests.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly to ensure a 5-star experience.
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems during the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk, front office, or night audit role is preferred.
- Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills for financial accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure during night shifts.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
