As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in the 24/7 operation of our luxury property. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between front-of-house operations and back-office administration, handling guest relations, and managing financial reconciliation with precision. Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues with the highest level of professionalism.
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform end-of-day and end-of-night financial reports, including balancing the house bank and credit card settlements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Security Oversight: Conduct regular security rounds of the property, monitoring surveillance systems, and ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Front Desk Operations: Assist with front desk duties during peak night hours, answering phones, processing payments, and managing reservations.
- Reporting: Generate nightly reports for management and communicate any maintenance or operational issues that arose during the shift.
- Mail & Message Management: Sort and distribute mail, faxes, and messages to guests and departments promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a Night Audit or Front Desk capacity.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to manage financial data and maintain high standards of accuracy.
