Responsibilities

  • Guest Relations: Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Perform end-of-day and end-of-night financial reports, including balancing the house bank and credit card settlements to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Security Oversight: Conduct regular security rounds of the property, monitoring surveillance systems, and ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
  • Front Desk Operations: Assist with front desk duties during peak night hours, answering phones, processing payments, and managing reservations.
  • Reporting: Generate nightly reports for management and communicate any maintenance or operational issues that arose during the shift.
  • Mail & Message Management: Sort and distribute mail, faxes, and messages to guests and departments promptly.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a Night Audit or Front Desk capacity.
  • Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Skills: Strong computer proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
