Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and key card issuance.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Perform nightly financial reconciliation, including balancing the Point of Sale (POS) and generating accurate night audit reports.
- Monitor building security and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with wake-up calls, room service orders, and concierge services as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations is preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
