As a Night Auditor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests during the overnight hours. Responsibilities
- Conduct the nightly audit, including balancing daily revenue, posting charges, and generating financial reports accurately.
- Assist arriving and departing guests with check-in and check-out procedures using property management software.
- Monitor hotel security systems and ensure the safety and security of the property and guests throughout the night.
- Handle cash transactions, credit card verifications, and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to the management team immediately.
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments or guests in a courteous manner.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality or hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and experience with property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during quiet hours.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
