Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using hotel management systems while maintaining accuracy
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing processes
- Monitor security protocols and manage access to guest areas during overnight hours
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments, handle cash/credit card transactions, and balance daily reports
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous attention to detail in all guest interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience in hotel/hospitality
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts
- Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation options
