Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/checkouts with precision and efficiency using Opera PMS
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor security systems and ensure guest safety throughout the night
- Perform nightly audits and prepare morning shift reports
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or hospitality experience required
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera PMS preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Valid DC hospitality license or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of DC attractions and transportation
