Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using hotel management systems while maintaining accurate records
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and coordinate with housekeeping/security teams
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile nightly transactions
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols during overnight hours
- Prepare daily reports and ensure seamless communication with day shift staff
- Maintain lobby cleanliness and operational readiness for guest arrivals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts
- Proficiency in Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar property management systems
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional errands)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Sacramento attractions and transportation options
