Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check guests in and out efficiently, and answer incoming phone calls with a professional and helpful tone.
- Guest Assistance: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and diplomacy, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the hotel premises, ensure the safety of guests and staff, and assist with key card access and room security checks.
- Cash Handling: Process cash, credit, and check payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for check-in and perform light cleaning duties in the lobby area.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the night logbook, process wake-up calls, and perform light clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
