Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle overnight guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Monitor hotel security systems and patrol common areas to ensure guest safety.
- Process payments and manage the cash drawer accurately and securely.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties and maintain the lobby area.
- Answer incoming phone lines and respond to emails promptly.
- Collaborate with day shift staff to ensure a seamless handover of guest information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest services role (at least 1 year preferred).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
