Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion
- Manage reservations and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Safeguard hotel assets through rigorous security protocols and key control
- Coordinate with overnight staff (housekeeping, security) for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Prepare reports for management on occupancy, incidents, and guest feedback
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Valid New York State hospitality certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation
