Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, verifying IDs and processing payments.
- Perform nightly front desk operations, including opening the house, managing wake-up calls, and answering high-volume phone lines.
- Conduct the night audit, ensuring all financial transactions and room status reports are reconciled correctly.
- Monitor building security systems and emergency protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain a pristine appearance of the front desk area and lobby, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in front desk operations, guest services, or a related field.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
