Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration procedures are accurate and compliant with security protocols.
- Perform Night Audit duties, including balancing the hotel's financial ledgers, posting charges, and preparing daily reports.
- Maintain the security of the property by conducting regular patrols of the lobby, parking areas, and guest rooms.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally, escalating complex issues to the appropriate manager.
- Manage the telephone system, including taking and relaying messages and answering high-volume incoming calls.
- Assist in housekeeping coordination by reporting maintenance issues and dirty rooms promptly.
- Process payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and manage cash drawers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk operations, or night auditing is preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera or Micros.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED required.
