Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identification and payment information with precision.
- Manage the front desk switchboard, answering inquiries and routing calls professionally.
- Monitor hotel security systems and patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of all guests and staff.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department to address urgent guest requests and maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain the pristine condition of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces throughout the night.
- Process daily financial transactions and reconcile credit card reports accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including light maintenance or updating reservation systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management software quickly.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
