Are you a seasoned hospitality professional ready to lead the night? The Grand Luxe Hotels is currently seeking an exceptional Night Shift Manager to join our elite team in downtown Los Angeles.
As the cornerstone of our overnight operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service, security, and property management. Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage all front-of-house operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services during the overnight shift.
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive warm, personalized service and resolve any immediate issues or complaints efficiently.
- Security & Safety: Monitor hotel premises, oversee access control, and ensure the safety of guests and staff throughout the night.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare and review daily reports, including occupancy rates, revenue summaries, and maintenance logs.
- Team Supervision: Lead and mentor the night staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Brand Standards: Enforce all company policies, procedures, and brand standards to maintain our reputation for luxury.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
