Responsibilities
- Oversee the front desk operations and night audit procedures to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and guest records.
- Greet arriving guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently, resolving any immediate issues.
- Monitor the property for security and safety, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services if necessary.
- Manage wake-up calls, room service orders, and concierge requests promptly.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with a focus on exceeding expectations and maintaining the hotel's reputation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby during quiet hours.
- Perform regular rounds of the hotel to verify room status and address maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or night audit roles.
- Strong proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during low-traffic hours.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
