The Grand Hotel Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Shift Hotel Manager / Night Auditor to join our elite 4-star property. As the Night Shift Manager, you will serve as the face of the hotel during our quietest hours. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the front desk, financial accuracy through the night audit, and the safety and security of our guests. Responsibilities
- Perform the nightly audit of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in room rates, folios, and revenue reporting.
- Check-in guests efficiently, manage reservations, and resolve any check-out inquiries or special requests with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Monitor the property for security issues, fire safety, and general maintenance needs during the overnight shift and coordinate with the day shift team.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies via phone, email, or in-person in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby during the night hours.
- Manage the key control system and ensure proper access for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a hotel front desk or night audit role.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Oracle, Micros, or similar software.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for financial accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
