Responsibilities

  • Perform the nightly audit of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in room rates, folios, and revenue reporting.
  • Check-in guests efficiently, manage reservations, and resolve any check-out inquiries or special requests with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor the property for security issues, fire safety, and general maintenance needs during the overnight shift and coordinate with the day shift team.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies via phone, email, or in-person in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby during the night hours.
  • Manage the key control system and ensure proper access for staff and guests.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a hotel front desk or night audit role.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Oracle, Micros, or similar software.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail for financial accuracy.
