Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including check-ins, check-outs, and key card management.
- Perform the nightly financial reconciliation and audit of all hotel accounts, deposits, and charges.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the property, parking areas, and guest rooms to ensure safety and asset protection.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a memorable stay.
- Process payments, manage cash drawers with strict accuracy, and reconcile daily bank deposits.
- Coordinate with the day shift management team to ensure a smooth handover of operations and information.
- Monitor building systems, including HVAC and lighting, to maintain optimal comfort for overnight guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk role or night audit position within the hospitality industry.
- Strong proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, StayNTouch, or Micros.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
