Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas thoroughly, ensuring adherence to strict cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as soap, shampoo, and towels.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and ensuring non-slip conditions in wet areas.
- Maintain a high level of organization for cleaning carts and storage areas.
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for early morning guests by preparing rooms in advance of check-in.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition and continuous service quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus but not mandatory; we provide training.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
