Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with 95% accuracy
- Handle reservation modifications and special requests via phone/email
- Resolve guest inquiries using our property management system
- Process payments and maintain daily cash reconciliation reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Execute upselling strategies for premium rooms and amenities
- Maintain security compliance for guest data and keys
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera or similar PMS software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
