Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest check-in/check-out experiences using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with housekeeping/management teams
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Operate switchboard for 150+ room property with 24-hour service
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and premium amenities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area
- Participate in daily briefings and monthly training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service experience in hotel, retail, or hospitality
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Columbus attractions and transportation
- Valid Ohio driver's license (for occasional airport shuttle duties)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
