As a Guest Services Associate, you will be the face of The Austin Luxury Hotel. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until they depart.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional, and personalized greeting to all guests upon arrival.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently manage the registration process, including verifying guest information and processing payments using hotel PMS software.
- Guest Inquiries: Respond to guest questions regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel services with a positive attitude.
- Reservation Support: Assist the front desk team with answering phone calls and managing reservation requests.
- Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk, lobby, and reception areas.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with our brand standards.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new property management systems quickly.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
