Responsibilities
- Execute efficient front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and luggage handling.
- Process daily financial transactions and balance night audit reports accurately.
- Monitor hotel security and emergency protocols during the overnight shift.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a positive attitude.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails regarding reservations and services.
- Assist with concierge duties, providing local area recommendations to guests.
- Ensure the lobby and common areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (PMS).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle cash and perform basic math.
